Go Yacht Racing

PCSC is setting up a new system to help interested people get involved in yacht racing (also known as keelboat racing).

If you have a boat and would like to explore racing in our friendly and helpful Club, get in touch and we will arrange an experienced crew member to sail with you for a few races, to guide you through starts, mark roundings and port and starboard rules.

Or maybe you'd prefer to sail as crew with a more experienced skipper, to find out how it all works before using your own boat. If you don't own a boat but want to explore yacht racing, get in touch, there are always skippers looking for crew.

To make all this possible, the Club would like some experienced volunteers to mentor newcomers. If you don't skipper or crew on a boat anymore, or you do race a boat but are willing to swap a good crew member from time to time, get in touch.

Go Yacht Racing... It's fun, challenging and you learn something new every race.
