This is an invitation to those who can afford and wish to contribute more than the membership fee to improve Club facilities. It’s also an opportunity for those who can’t or don’t volunteer their time, to contribute by donation.

The Club has a long tradition of volunteering which keeps membership fees low. Membership fees are kept at a level that makes the club affordable for most boating enthusiasts, but a low fees policy restricts the capacity for major upgrades and enhancements to facilities.

Projects that are now on the table with volunteers ready to project manage include a major upgrade to the floating pontoon which will increase tender dock capacity and enhancement of the outdoor seating area of the clubhouse by fitting flat timber decking over the sloping paved area that fronts the water on the North side of the building.

The floating pontoon upgrade is underway and without donations will absorb most of the available cash for the coming year and the the clubhouse decking project can only proceed at this time if this fundraising campaign is successful. The Club has a professional builder offering his skills now
to manage the project in a volunteer capacity and there are other volunteers offering their labour. This is a great opportunity but needs the funds to make it happen. $25,000 is the budget for materials and furniture. Donations can be made via our fundraising campaign with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) HERE and are tax deductible to the donor.

ASF is a not for profit and retains 5% of all donations to fund its operations. These “platform costs” can be paid by the donor as an extra donation or will be deducted from the donation amount. For those donating $1000 or more, consider using the EFT or direct deposit option to avoid the credit card charges. (Note that if donating via the ASF option the EFT and direct deposit to ASF account only show as options for donations over $1000).

Unless you need to take advantage  of the tax deductability feature of using ASF, we would suggest that a deposit to the Club's bank be more appropriate. In that case, you incur no fees and PCSC receives all of your intended donation.
